Date: 2024-10-05
Recently, Silversea Cruises announced that it is building a new hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, the southernmost city in the world and the port for Silversea Cruises' Antarctica seasonal departures. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The hotel overlooks the Beagle Channel, pristine forests and snow-capped Patagonia Mountains. The architecture and interior design will draw inspiration from local traditional art and integrate into the surrounding environment. It will provide 150 rooms, restaurants, bars and lounges, fitness centers and gift shops.
As we continue to provide guests with the ultimate vacation experience, this new hotel enables us to provide unparalleled Antarctic adventure travel and further enhance our brand's diverse world-class vacation series. "Said Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, the parent company of Silversea Cruises.
